About Sarah Sellers
Growing up on a cattle ranch in Central Texas, Sarah developed a love for animals and a desire to rehabilitate and promote good health practices for them. Sarah’s experience as a horse trainer, after working under multiple trainers of different disciplines, has illuminated the importance of the horse’s health to achieve proper function. She has devoted her life to helping create a balance between horses and their riders through a holistic approach.
Sarah competed on the equestrian team at Texas State University before graduating with a BS in Agriculture. Currently, she is a student at the Vluggen Institute for Equine Osteopathy. She is certified in the Graston Technique and equine acupressure. She is also certified as an Equine Specialist through Eagala(Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association).
Sarah began serving Restoration Ranch as a trainer in 2018, keeping the horses conditioned to activities for work with veterans. In 2022, she joined the RR team as the Equine Supervisor. Since then, she has worked to develop and implement programing that provides weekly involvement for veterans with the horses.
