About Machelle Taylor

Machelle Taylor joined Restoration Ranch as the Program and Outreach Coordinator July 2023.

​

Machelle and her high school sweetheart first came to Restoration Ranch as participants in the VEPP in the Fall of 2020. Finding the community that they had been missing, they became peer volunteers for the VEPP, Caregivers Retreats, and other events at Restoration Ranch. 

​

Machelle held many volunteer positions throughout her husband’s 22 yr Active-duty Army career and continues to give back to the veteran community through volunteerism especially to the veteran spouses/partners that often get left behind.

Professional Experience

  • 4/2006- Dept. of Defense Certificate of Appreciation for Patriotic Civilian Service w/pin  

  • 10/2015- Completion of Army Family Team Building Levels 1-3; Command Spouse Training Fort Riley, KS

  • 3/2016- Soldier & Family Readiness Group Contact Caller, Co-Leader & then Leader for 1st Battalion 4th Cavalry Squadron, C (Comanche) Troop, Fort Riley, KS 

  • 3/2016- SFRG Leader Training Certificate Fort Riley, KS

  • 4/2016- ASIST (Applied Suided Intervention Skills Training) Certified 

  • 6/2022- Mental Health First Aid Certified Expiration 6/25

  • 2/2021 to present- Veteran Spouse Network https://veteranspousenetwork.org  V-SRG & Social Club Peer Leader Certified.
