Welcome To Restoration Ranch
Where veterans care for the horses, the land and each other
Upcoming Restoration Ranch Events
Restoration Ranch is operated as an experiential learning center for the benefit of veterans and the second-chance horses that live there. In 2018, more than 800 veteran families benefited from our programs and services and we hope to build on those numbers in 2019. We regularly host joint programming and outreach events with other veteran service organizations to reach even more veterans in the Central Texas community.
At the ranch, veteran families not only access equine therapy but also peer support services, holistic workshops, music events, organic gardening, exercise classes, acupuncture and massage treatments along with all kinds of volunteer projects. All services are provided free of charge thanks to the support of our private donors and foundational grants.
Restoration Ranch operates under the stewardship of The Joyful Horse Project, a federally qualified 501c(3) tax-exempt organization. Tax Identification number is 45-4522043 and you can find us on Guidestar.
Restoration Ranch provides veteran families with an opportunity to learn from the horses, build connections within the local community, contribute to service-oriented projects and generally enjoy a safe-haven for personal growth and fulfillment through our experiential learning programs.
Restoration Ranch operates solely on the generous sponsorship donations of individuals, organizations and other public charities to ensure that every veteran participant and every horse on the property have the opportunity to heal, learn and grow through our programs and services. We also have a variety of environmental development projects underway at any given time for volunteers to get involved with on a year-round basis.
