Hurricane Relief in South/Central Texas

Thanks to all of our generous supporters who have donated to our hurricane relief fund! In total, we have raised more than $6,000 from individuals plus an additional $1,500 from Wondercide Natural Pet Products’ Labor Day weekend campaign.

Here’s what we’ve done so far…

1. We have secured over 300 bales of horse-quality coastal square bales (at cost for $2,350) that will be distributed in the coming weeks to the livestock evacuation and supply centers.

2. We have supplied more than $1,000 worth of cleaning products, feed buckets, shavings, insect repellent, fly spray and other supplies in direct support of Rockport/Port Aransas families.

3. Thanks to an amazing group of West Point Moms, we have raised nearly $3,000 to provide direct and immediate relief to five military families that suffered major property losses during the hurricane. Visa/Mastercard, Target and Home Depot gift cards have been distributed as needed to each of the families.

What’s more…

Restoration Ranch is fostering two horses that were found in the flood waters of East Texas. They are the wards of the Sheriff’s department until their owners can be identified.  These horses are severely malnourished and will require a lot of TLC to regain their health in the coming weeks.

Our staff and an amazing team of veteran volunteers are doing a great job helping them feel safe and attending to their immediate health issues. We do not know how long we will have these horses, but they (and many others like them) will need our help in the months ahead.

Please consider making a regular monthly tax deductible donation of $25, $50 or $100 per month to support their rehabilitation. We will continue to provide updates on their progress in the weeks to come so be sure to follow Restoration Ranch on Facebook.

We appreciate all of you so much!
