Pay it forward by building connections within the local community and with other non-profit and veteran service organizations.
Sharing the work of Restoration Ranch by hosting collaborative play days, picnics, community service projects or open houses for members of other service organizations is one of the most rewarding ways our veteran participants can continue to serve others.
In 2016, groups of children from Foster Angels of Central Texas and Explore Austin had the chance to learn from our veteran participants what it means to care for and connect with the horses.
We were also honored to have an Eagle Scout team build one of our run-in sheds for the horses and various other volunteer teams from around central Texas come out and help with assorted ranch projects.
The Bastrop Area Cruisers also stopped by for an open house on a beautiful sunny weekend in November and everyone enjoyed looking at the cars and admiring the horses.
We are always looking for other organizations who want to come out and enjoy the ranch with us and sponsors to host the lunches at these events are especially appreciated.
Please get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in bringing your group out to the ranch or if you are interested in volunteering at one of our community outreach events.
