Volunteer Work Day! @ Restoration Ranch
Oct 28 all-day

Join us at Restoration Ranch to lend your support in beautifying the ranch and horses for our Nov. 5 Veterans Fall Fundraiser Event.

Oct. 7 we will be focusing on painting the inside of our education center inside the equipment barn.

Oct. 28 is a ranch beautification day including weeding, gardening, trimming, cleaning and sprucing up the ranch.

All are welcome. Wear work clothes, boots, gloves, etc. and we will supply the rest — including a pizza party afterward!

Holiday Gift Making Workshop — Scrubs, Salves and More! @ Restoration Ranch

Join Dee Marrs for this fun and informative 15209159_10207446224265003_487055805_nworkshop as she demonstrates how to make your own homemade salves and scrubs using simple ingredients to give away as holiday gifts.

This workshop is open to all of our veteran participants, family members as well as friends and supporters of Restoration Ranch.

Please bring your own glass containers with lids for packaging your gifts. Otherwise, we will give you plastic baggies to transport your goodies home with you.

Equine CranioSacral Therapy Workshop @ Restoration Ranch

Dr. Sandi Howlett will be facilitating a four-day ESE1 workshop offered through the Upledger Institute.

Description:
This 4 day class provides an opportunity for CranioSacral Therapists to develop and expand their non-verbal dialoguing skills through the exploration of inter-species communication. Therapists learn to listen with their hands, their hearts, and their inner wisdom.

Course content includes introduction to equine anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, as well as CranioSacral techniques for horses. Theory and practical application is included.

Participants receive lectures in the mornings, with afternoon practice sessions entirely on horses. Course syllabus also includes: CranioSacral Rhythm, Listening Stations, Tissue Release, Safety, Diaphragms, Cranial Vault anatomy and techniques, Equine Behavior, Energy and Awareness, Musculoskeletal System, Dural Tube, TMJ, Scapula, Sacrosciatic Ligament, and more.

A 2-Day Clinical Apps Class will follow this four-day course on Dec. 17 and 18 for anyone who has taken any level of ESE coursework.
