Hello: In 1996 I gave my heart to Jesus and He saved me from a total destructive Path and turned me completely around for Him. I knew this would be the last chance for me to do something with my life. I used prescription drugs to ease my pain and feed my poor self image. Honestly, I wanted to die. But when I came to the Ranch, I knew that this was where I could find the missing link in my life. That link has been Jesus and He helped me take back my life again. After I graduated in Dec 1997 I went back to work and even now to this day my daughter and I are living for Him and have a beautiful home and life.

Hi there my name is Sharon, Just to bring you up to date all of the five children that I lost before my recovery, they now live with me and my husband Tony. We are living for Christ and YOU made all the difference in this world to help me change. Thank you so much.

When I was six years old I gave my life to God. I wanted to serve Him with all that I was. I grew in God everyday and I knew that I was one of His. However, around the age of 21, I began taking my eyes off of God and looked at all that I had not experienced. The world was calling me and I was listening. The desire to taste the forbidden fruit became so strong that I walked away from my church, my husband at the time and five year marriage. I took my three-year-old daughter away from her loving father. I only thought of me. I became my own God.

Everything became so easy for me to do and sin and not feel anything. I had no peace and was at the end of all hope of happiness. I used drugs and men to sedate my pain of what I was doing to myself. I became addicted to crack cocaine. I lost everything and we were all homeless and I wanted to give up.

However a dear friend reached out to me and shared about a ministry that could help me turn around so I began to listen again. I then turned my life over to Jesus and His forgiving love and I will never be the same again. I have found the true answer to life--his name is Jesus. And even after many years and learning many hard lessons the hard way I have learned to lean on Him for my strength. My family wants to THANK YOU, and JESUS, for helping me and supporting this beautiful ministry that will help many other girls in the future. Thanks. Sharon
