Hi my name is Libby an I have been working at the Thrift Store for /Restoration Ranch for about 4 years and loving every moment of it. I am only a part time employee but I have the chance to work with many people in need of help and love that I can give them with the help of Christ in my own life. Our store is very busy and has many outreach things that any individual can learn to do and be a blessing to others less fortunite than ourselves. Really folks it is all about serving others and being a blessing with our lives as a Christian.
One of my favorite things to do with our girls is to help them learn to ride a horse and how to help with the chores of maintaining of these big critters. I have loved horses all my life and have been riding since I was about a year old. I know how to ride by experience not by formal training and enjoying being a helpful volunteer on the ranch. Riding a horse here at the ranch is a benefit of God behavior and being teachable as to the reason they are here for. Jesus is the main reason for a student to be here, one of the benefits is to learn how to ride a horse the right way, and the safe way. Riding a horse is not a right but a priviledge from our directors....
It is not easy to learn discipline and submision to authority after being in trouble with the law or at home or community but it not impossible to make the changes that will put you on the right track again. With the help and love that our directors show to us we can begin to take on responsibilities that start at 1000 lbs or more.I love working here with these people and what the Lord has done with the vision in their lives. You will love it to, if your are ready for change and willing to go foward and fear not....
I thank God for my time and fellowship at Restoration Ranch know that we are pressing toward Christ and not looking back. My advice to you is to come on board with us......We will be praying for you. God Bless, Libby
