Horses in Our Ministry
Restoration Ranch offers horseback riding for the ladies. This is a privilege to be able to learn to ride properly and to learn to help others with the classes and summer camps that are available. This can be a life changing activity for you.
We own 4 quarter horses for the purpose of pleasure. We also feel that our horses are good therapy for the ladies and encourage them to be involved with the horses in things such as brusing, cleaning, feeding, riding, etc. Again, all horse activites are done on scheduled time each week
Much time has passed since we have updated you on our Horse Ministry and Outreach. Over the period of the last two years our trainer have been working hard with our Directors and our students to be accomplished riders and managers of our horses. We are glad to say that the girls that we have coming at our ranch for their recovery are now able to enjoy the horses and also work with our outreach for the children in the community.
Our teachers have been great as they have served with us on staff to teach us proper riding abilities and show us how to be able to help others enjoy the spirit of a horse. Only God has been able to do this with us as a ministry and able to enperience seeing our ladies grow in strenth and confidence as they are working with the horses. We give all the praise to our Heavenly Father for the discipline and faith accuried as they learn to manage a 1000lb animal and get a grip on their own life for the first time in maybe many years. Thank you Jesus.
SUMMER OUTREACH PROGRAM: We have held two types of Summer Riding Camps this year. One was for the ages of 6 years old to 12yrs. The other was for teen 13yrs to 18yrs. Both camps were very sucessful. Pictures will be posted this week. We just celebrated our first graduation class of beginner riders. They had a great time and lots of Hot dogs to eat..Yum....

If you would like to donate Feed, Hay or Saddles ect. please call our office for arrangement to be made. We are looking for volunteers to be involved for this school year to help us with the classroom events. We have held several classes this past school year with great results. However we need those of you who are interested in ministry of helping children learn confidence and a sense of security by working with horses.
Our individual family lessons are beginning to be quite sucessful as we are working with three to five persons in a family learn together. Reports of better communications and better manners and improvements in responsible have been a blessing to hear reported to our office. You can help us help a whole family with this new and fun way of having fun together.
