Welcome To
Restoration Ranch

Where veterans care for the horses, the land & each other

Our Misson

Our Mission

Restoration Ranch provides a safe haven for equine learning and development that nurtures the well-being of veteran families through the gift of the horse.

The ranch is owned by a non-profit and operated as an experiential learning center for the benefit of veterans and the second-chance horses that live there.

Located in Bastrop, Texas the ranch is a place where veterans, horses, and the land each contribute to the health and well-being of the others. It provides access to a rural way of life that embraces holistic health, sustainable agriculture, and community-building programs aimed at restoring the physical vitality, and emotional and spiritual health of all involved.

Our Approach

Restoration Ranch provides veteran families with an opportunity to learn from the horses, build connections within the local community, contribute to service-oriented projects and generally enjoy a safe-haven for personal growth and fulfillment through our experiential learning programs.

Caregiver Workshops

Our hidden heroes are those who care for their veteran, day in and day out. Many times, these veterans have mental health as well serious physical ailments, requiring constant 24/7 care. Our workshops provide a few hours to get away, visit with fellow caregivers, and enjoy an afternoon with the horses.
